Get ready to make a splash in Margaritaville!

Parrot heads of all ages take note: Margaritaville Resort Orlando has released new details about its water park.

Island H20 Live!, one of the latest projects in Jimmy Buffett‘s ever-expanding empire of restaurants, hotels and even retirement homes, will be located on the resort’s central Florida property, and will be themed around technology and social media.

Not only will the attractions have fun named like the family tube ride “Hashtag Heights” or the thrilling drop slide “Follow Me Falls,” and “Retweet Racers,” but the innovative slide experiences will be enhanced by technology with photo booths and ways for guests to record videos of themselves in the park.

Similarly to Universal Orlando Resort’s recently opened Volcano Bay water park, Island H20 will operate on a wristband system called Vantage, which guests will sync with an app on their phone. The wristbands will play music and create lighting effects on certain slides and allow people to take photo and video for instant social media posts—hopefully solving the problem of risking a wet phone for the sake of an Instagram shot.

“Be Live” video booths will also be sprinkled throughout the park and will provide the perfect on-camera element to document a day of fun in the sun.

In addition to the themed areas for kids and teens, adults can enjoy the oasis of the “Private Domain Pool” and sip cocktails from the “Tag Shack.”

Island H20 Live! is set to open this spring, and in total will feature nine thrill rides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a kids’ area, and a family-friendly river raft ride. For those looking for a more chilled out experience, there will be “tropically-inspired havens” throughout the property which boast hammocks, cabanas and sandy beaches.

The park is just one component of the expansive resort, which is situated across the road from Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Accommodation options include The Margaritaville Hotel—now booking reservations in its 184 guest rooms with rates starting around $179 per night—and the Margaritaville Cottages, which provide the comforts of home and are available to purchase for those looking to take a permanent vacation.

The resort will also be home to Sunset Walk, a shopping, dining, and entertainment hub in the style of Disney Springs or Universal Citywalk. The open-air space will house 23 different restaurants.

And this isn’t the only Margaritaville destination in the works, future properties are planned for New York City, Costa Rica, The Bahamas, Nashville and the Ozarks.
