On 13th March, Penélope and Monica Cruz launched their SS08 collection for Mango at the brand’s flagship store in Madrid. At the presentation, the sisters signed T-shirts of loyal Mango customers. It is the second exclusive collection the Cruz sisters created for Mango. The current collection takes its inspiration from Brigitte Bardot and summers in Saint Tropez.
Given the positive results of the first part of the Spring/Summer 08 collection, Mango expects the second collection will be a huge success. The collection, made up of 38 articles features three trends: retro-marine, blended with romantic floral prints; red carpet evening dresses for every occasion and the “ad lib” Californian line, with more summery pieces. In general, the Penélope & Mónica Cruz for MNG collection has a distinctive floral and romantic feel to it. It also includes a jeans section and various accessories, such as shoes, hair bands, caps and hats.
