SmackDown’s go-home show for the Royal Rumble took place in Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday night.

Randy Orton stood tall heading into the men’s Royal Rumble match. Rey Mysterio and Andrade were facing off in a two-out-of-three falls match in the main event. They had each won a fall when Samoa Joe interrupted things and attacked them both, but Orton appeared out of nowhere to hit an RKO on Joe.

Daniel Bryan tried to avoid getting into the ring with AJ Styles in their face-to-face segment. He insulted Styles, Vince McMahon, and baby boomers. Styles brought the fight to Bryan, but Bryan avoided a Phenomenal Forearm by putting Vince in the way. Bryan then laid out Styles with a running knee ahead of their WWE title match on Sunday.

After they were interrupted by Charlotte Flair at the start of the show, Asuka and Becky Lynch also brawled before their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at the Royal Rumble.

In the Tag Team title scene, Cesaro got a win against The Miz after interference from Sheamus. Cesaro and Sheamus put Shane McMahon and Miz through a table after the match.
