The New Prague wrestler has already wrestled in three state finals, making his first appearance as an eighth grader at 113 pounds, a product of wrestling in the state of Minnesota which allows middle school wrestlers to compete in varsity competitions.
However, if you have been paying attention the Minnesota wrestler has been making a name for himself lately, winning the Cheesehead in Kaukauna, Wisconsin at 145 pounds by defeating top 100 2015 recruit Vince Turk in the finals. Parriott then showed off his freestyle skills last month taking third in Las Vegas at 66 kg (145.5 lbs) Junior National tournament, with his only loss being to Cadet World Champion, Zain Retherford.
