State runner-up Ben Brancale of Eden Prairie has committed to wrestling for Minnesota following his senior season.
Brancale is a two-time state placewinner. He was the Class AAA 138-pound runner-up in 2014 as a junior. He placed third at 120 pounds as a sophomore.
Brancale was a 2014 USA Wrestling Junior freestyle All-American.
Ben’s brother Sam is the current 125-pound starter for the Gophers.
Brancale is projected to wrestle at 149 pounds in college.
