This week’s episode of SmackDown Live featured a solid match between Xavier Woods and Cesaro.
Unfortunately for Woods, he had blood coming out of his mouth at the end of the match. Many fans noticed it during the final minutes of the match but the announcers did not say if he was busted open so it was not clear exactly why he was bleeding so much.
It turns out that Woods took a brutal uppercut from Cesaro and that caused him to bit his tongue and that’s where the blood was coming from.
Woods said the following on Instagram: “As a result of a nasty uppercut from @wwecesaro I have one hole and two partials in my tongue. Eating/talking the next few weeks should be fun ”
