We’re looking for reports from Raw and Smackdown tapings tonight in Los Angeles, most the Smackdown results to [email protected]”>[email protected]
Everyone is scheduled for the show tonight, including Brock Lesnar and Sting. No Undertaker as far as we know, but they should at least do an Undertaker presence in the Bray Wyatt segment. Tonight is the more important Raw show of the year, even though next week’s show is usually the most talked about and most memorable. No tapings tomorrow as the crew goes from Los Angeles to San Jose for the most part to get ready for WrestleMania.

The newest issue of Figure Four Weekly is up on the site for subscribers (subscribe here) with a look at whatever is going on with NXT, plus notes on the upcoming WWE Jerry Lawler DVD as well as all of the usual reviews and international news.
The Kindle edition for non-subscribers isn’t up yet, but you can still get the February 6th issue, featuring a a eulogy for the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Almanac and Book of Facts (which Kappa Publishing announced it is no longer producing) as well as all of the usual reviews and international news. It’s available on the American, UK/Ireland, Canadian, and Australian Amazon Kindle stores, as well as various other regional Kindle stores that I’m probably forgetting.
Also, now available for the first time on Kindle (meaning Kindle devices and anything with the Kindle app) is Fall Guys, the seminal 1937 book that has been described as being like the 1930s version of the Wrestling Observer. It was surprisingly not on Kindle already, so we put together a nice version with a full table of contents w/ chapter marks, proper formatting on everything, etc. Right now it’s available from the American, Canadian, and Australian Amazon/Kindle stores OR you can also buy it from anywhere in the world on PayHip, who will provide you with both Kindle and ePub (every other e-reader) format files, and you can either sideload them to your device or have them email it to your Kindle.

MONDAY’S NEWS UPDATE
Bryan and I will be back covering Raw and the latest news tonight on Wrestling Observer radio. You can send questions for tonight’s show to [email protected]
I’ll also be on the new episode of Talk is Jericho this week as Chris Jericho and I talk about the death of Perro Aguayo Jr. and WrestleMania.
Tonight’s Raw is sold out. There has been at least talk of mentioning Perro Aguayo Jr. in a graphic due to all the worldwide publicity the story of his death has gotten. It would be the right thing to do.
There will be a WWE Network interview with HHH and Arnold Schwarzenegger airing right after Raw tonight. As noted on the front page, there is a connection between the two of them to promote Schwarzenegger’s new “Terminator: Genisys” movie with footage from WrestleMania where HHH’s ring entrance will include movie footage.
As noted a few days ago, Mick Foley will not be doing a second show in San Jose as he had hoped to do, because of the feeling there just wasn’t enough time to promote it. His Friday show is sold out but there are tickets left for his Thursday show at the Cobb Comedy Club in San Francisco.
Ronda Rousey is in New York this week doing promotional appearances on The View and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as well as going to Albany to push the bill to legalize professional MMA in the state. She’ll be in Albany both today and tomorrow, including a meeting with Gov. Andrew Cuomo and State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos. UFC is officially using the term cautiously optimistic regarding the bill getting through the Assembly this year, where it has stalled the past few years. The plan, if it goes through, is to do a giant show late in the year in Madison Square Garden.
For those in Canada, Smackdown this week only airs on Thursday at 8 p.m., same time as the U.S.
Roman Reigns will be on Conan O’Brien on TBS tomorrow night.
Michael Langan had some friends bail on him for this weekend. He has the following tickets
1) First row seats for Friday night’s King of Indies show
2) Axxess early Saturday session
3) Axxess late Saturday session
4) Hall of Fame tickets Gold/Platinum level package
He is in the area this week, but could mail the tickets if need be. He’s also looking for Axxess Sunday morning tickets. He can be reached at [email protected] or at 706-575-0190
WWE has made these Fan Axxess announcements. Appearing on Thursday include Prime Time Players, Rusev, Jack Swagger, Erick Rowan, Booker T, Luke Harper and Lita.
