205 Live continues to heat up as the weeks go by due largely to the action in the ongoing tournament to determine the next Crusierweight Champion. WWE released a teaser for tonight’s 205 Live episode and revealed a few interesting details in the process. It looks like 205 Live General Manager has determined that Jack Gallagher, Mustafa Ali, and Ariya Daivari will serve as three of the participants in the tournament. That leaves just one man left for the tournament who has not been named as of yet, and according to WWE, Maverick has stated that this person will be a mystery entrant. The remaining tournament matches are expected to be announced on 205 Live tonight.

Hearing from a source who has been reliable in the past that there’s been talk of putting Lio Rush in the 205 Live cruiserweight tournament.

Who will be the surprise tournament participant? It looks like we may already know the answer to that question. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, current NXT Superstar Lio Rush could be getting called up to participate in the tournament. Rush has not been seen on NXT very much lately (likely due to the backlash that he caught from his peers after joking about Emma’s release from the company on Twitter last year.) Despite this, 205 Live seems to be in a rebuilding phase after Enzo Amore’s departure and with additions to the roster such as Roderick Strong. At only a young age, Rush is one of the most athletic, charismatic, and unique performers WWE has. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Rush.

It was confirmed during last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw that Jason Jordan will be forced to miss out on WrestleMania this year due to a neck injury that he has suffered recently. The timing of the injury is unfortunate because it sounds like the company had huge plans for Jordan at the event. According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, Jordan had been set to face his former tag team partner Seth Rollins in a match at WrestleMania in April. This likely forced the company to change plans for Seth Rollins as well given that he has now suddenly turned his attention to Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Jason Jordan commented on his unfortunate injury on Twitter earlier today.

This isn’t what I envisioned my Road to #WrestleMania would look like…but this won’t stop me. I’m coming back better than ever. #GoldBlooded #TheReturn https://t.co/P5mQX8yEdD
