The show starts with a video package highlighting Cedric Alexander’s countout victory from RAW. 
Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcomes us to the show and recaps what transpired last night and promises an appearance by Enzo Amore later tonight. They also inform us that we will see Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese later tonight.
We see a segment from earlier today that set-up the first match, as TJP taunts Gran Metalik about having won the Cruiserweight Classic. Gran Metalik welcomes him back and Kalisto tells TJP that he is living in the past, and he is going to get left behind. TJP says that he is the original, and TJP takes his leave.

Gran Metalik vs. TJP: TJP charges in early on and hits Metalik with some big chops. Metalik handsprings off the ropes, but TJP dodges it. Metalik goes for an early roll-up, but only a two count. Metalik goes for a dive to the outside, but gets hits by TJP. TJP tries to throw him into the steps, but Metalik jumps over them, comes back and hits a hurricanrana off the steps. Back in the ring, Metalik heads to the top and gets knocked down. Metalik is now on the tree of woe as TJP stomps on his face. TJP hits the running drop kick on Metalik and goes for a pin, but only a one count. Commentary talks about Metalik’s knee injury and we’ll see if that plays into the match.
TJP hits a springboard forearm and goes for the pin, but only a two count. TJP goes out to the apron, flips over the top rope and crashes down on his opponent. TJP goes for another pin, but only a two count. TJP looks a little frustrated. Both wrestlers ends up on the second rope and Metalik hits a sunset bomb on TJP. Metalik walks the ropes and hits a missile dropkick on TJP and goes for a pin, but only a two count. TJP grabs Metalik’s mask to get a break. Metalik goes for another handspring, but gets kicked in the back. TJP hits a double gut-buster and goes for a pin, but only a two count. TJP yells in anger. TJP gets kicked in the head. Metalik goes up to the top rope and walks the rope again. Metalik hits the flying elbow. Metalik hits the Metalik driver and goes for the pin and gets the 1-2-3 for the win. Winner: Gran Metalik
After the match, Kalisto comes out to celebrate with Metalik. TJP gets up and says shut up. He gets all mad and says “What are you looking at? You think this is funny?” as he tears apart the announce table. He throws the steps and a chair as he finally heads to the back. He comes back and throws more steps before heading to the back. The crowd boos him on his way to the back.
We get a video package recapping the events from last night when Enzo Amore is getting checked out by the doctor. Nia Jax then comes in the room to check on Enzo, he tells her he’s good. We then see Enzo getting stitched up.

We head backstage where Dasha Fuentes is interviewing Enzo and she asks him about his injured ankle. Enzo says that he is built Ford tough, but the Doctors haven’t cleared him for action. He says that if he could fight tonight he would. Tony Nese shows up and says  that four weeks ago the Zo train beat some sense into him and he wants back in. Enzo tells him you think it’s easy. Nese says that he wants in and not as one of his cronies, but first in line after Enzo.
Gentleman Jack Gallagher heads out to the ring as we see a recap of Brian Kendrick getting destroyed by Hideo Itami’s GTS. Then we also see the events from last week when Gallagher used a lead pipe to beat up Itami. Gallagher grabs the mic and says that Itami isn’t here tonight and has some bruised ribs. Gallagher says that the scales are not even though compared to what Itami did to Kendrick. Gallagher says that he is here to ruin Hideo Itami’s life. Gallagher goes to continue, but Itami shows up and heads towards the ring. Gallagher tries catching him first, but Itami hits him with some punches. Gallagher tries to use the umbrella again, but Itami catches it, then uses it himself. Itami takes a big swing at Gallagher who ducks and heads out through the crowd.
We head backstage where Cedric Alexander talks about the outcome of his match against Enzo. He says that he will get another chance and he will make sure to take the title next time. Goldust enters and says that Cedric needs to watch out for Enzo’s mouth and that he has Nese in his back pocket. Cedric isn’t worried and says that if he needs to he will just injure Enzo’s other ankle.

Enzo Amore limps out to the ring and introduces Tony for the main event.
Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese: Nese starts off strong, and keeps checking in with Enzo as he gets in some offense. Action spills out on the floor as Nese slams Alexander on the barricade and does some more taunting. Nese tosses Cedric back in ring and cranks his neck as Enzo yells at him from ringside. Alexander hits a jawbreaker, but Nese gets control right back and goes for a pin, but only a two count. Enzo yells “Finish the job, kid!” at Nese.
Alexander tries to string together some offense, but Nese keeps firing back. Alexander is able to stun Nese as he heads to the apron and hits a big kick. Alexander hits a flatliner to Nese into the ring. Nese bails to the outside, but Alexander hits a massive flip over the top rope and hits it cleanly. Nese instantly gets thrown back into the ring and Alexander goes for the pin, but only a two count. Alexander goes for the lumbar check, but nese counters with a schoolboy and just gets a two count. Alexander heads to the apron and hits a springboard clothesline. Nese is able to drop Alexander and goes to the second rope. He goes for the moonsault, but lands on his feet and kicks Alexander. Alexander goes for the Handspring, but gets caught in midair. Nese drops Alexander’s stomach over his knee and goes for a pin, but only a two count.
Nese tries to keep Alexander down and goes for the pump-handle slam, but Alexander counters and lands awkwardly on his knee and sells like he’s in pain. Nese waits for a moment and then charges in, but Alexander with a quick roll-up for the 1-2-3. Winner: Cedric Alexander
After the match, Alexander shakes it off and shows his knee was fine the whole time. He laughs and smiles as Nese and Enzo head into the ring. Enzo tells Nese to get the hell out of the ring. Enzo yells at Alexander and asks him “You think that this is a joke?”. He continues yelling and taunting. Alexander goes for the bad ankle and Enzo dodges it, but then gets kicked in his good ankle. Enzo attacks Alexander, but ends up taking a Lumbar Check. Alexander holds the title and sets it behind Enzo’s head to end the show.
