With the NWA name being bantered around with a confusing purchase deal with former Impact Wrestling financial investor Billy Corgan, the NWA is showing it still has life in the name with the recent national television debut of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
In his first showing on the show, current NWA World Champion Tim Storm was challenged by former TNA/Impact/GFW champion and star, Nick Aldis, formerly known as Magnus. In this video released by the NWA on Youtube, you can see Storm having a nontitle match and is greeted by a new challenger.
While the National Wrestling Alliance name isn’t at the glory it once was with names like Flair, Race, Rhodes, and the like going around the country, territory to territory, like it used to, The same National Wrestling Alliance is still functioning, even at a smaller level. After splitting with TNA, the NWA has operated on a more local level and even had a run in Japan with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now under new ownership and back in the United States, the National Wrestling Alliance is slowly making a name for itself once again.
