No Extra Network Specials planned, Women on 205 Live

-Word going around the internet is that the WWE has no plans for any extra Network specials such as Beast in the East or Roadblock for the time being. With the Mae Young Classic coming up, The still not quite hammered out plans for the UK show, running two pay-per-view shows a month, and trying to boost 205 Live’s standing with the network, they have a full plate right now and not looking to add to the workload. Besides the live events programming, the WWE has several WWE 24 specials scheduled to be released in the coming months so extra shows like that aren’t really needed.
-Speaking of 205 Live, adding Sasha Banks to feud with Alicia Fox was no coincidence. Some in the WWE feel that by adding women to the show, it will help improve the visibility of the show and improve its online viewership. However, most fans will tell you that is not the case and that it is taped after Smackdown to tired and dead crowds, lackluster storytelling, and a low rotation of the show’s roster have much more to do with the show’s lack of interest from the fans.
