– As previously reported, John Cena is expected to take a bit of a hiatus from WWE. He will miss the Survivor Series PPV next month and likely the December 4 Smackdown brand PPV. With No Mercy being his final TV appearance, it was the reason he was pinned in the main event as WWE is expecting AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose to carry the brand over the next few months.
– Luke Harper was originally booked to be on the Raw brand and had been backstage at several Raw live events over the past couple of weeks. However, due to the injury to Erick Rowan, which will sideline him for around six months, Harper was needed on Raw as a stablemate for Bray Wyatt.
