Jeff Jarrett is currently negotiating with Hulk Hogan in hopes of having him join TNA, but it’s not at a stage where they are even talking much internally about it. Hogan has been able to get $75,000 a shot just for signing autographs without taking bumps, so if they do bring him in, he’s not going to come cheap.
Apolo of WWC, who TNA had been in discussions about bringing back to play Jim Mitchell’s next monster, was sent to jail on May 23rd for missing a $6,500 child support payment. He actually owes $13,000, but they’ll release him if he can pay the $6,500.
All plans for Jeff Jarrett over the next few months have been thrown out the window due to the passing of his wife Jill. No one knew if he was going to return at the Impact tapings this past Monday for his planned King of the Mountain match, and in the end he did not. Jill’s funeral took place Friday at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral home.
