WWE NXT returns to Full Sail University this evening for another stacked two-hour episode, airing live on the USA Network.
The show will be headlined by Velveteen Dream’s first match in months, as the enigmatic Superstar returns to action against the man who took the NXT North American title away from him: Roderick Strong.
While the Undisputed Era member no longer holds that belt, Dream apparently wants revenge badly enough that he has taken to painting Strong’s wife and child on his trunks.
Jordan Devlin has been on his own tour in recent weeks, debuting at Full Sail as well as WWE 205 Live after winning the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. He now puts the belt on the line against former champ Lio Rush, who last week defeated Angel Garza to earn the opportunity.
Tonight’s show will also see Chelsea Green finally compete, as she looks to relaunch the Robert Stone Brand against Kayden Carter. Plus, the fallout of Johnny Gargano’s heel turn at NXT Takeover: Portland, and potentially a response from Tommaso Ciampa.
