WWE has officially confirmed that Velveteen Dream will defend his NXT North American Championship in a triple threat match on Saturday, August 10th at NXT Takeover: Toronto.
The first of his opponents will of course be The Undisputed Era’s Roderick Strong, who scored a pin over the champ a few weeks ago on WWE NXT television in a six-man tag team match. They will also be joined by former WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne, as the “Bruiserweight” made a surprise return to the black-and-gold brand proper this week, inserting himself into the title picture.

Takeover: Toronto will be in an interesting night, as all four members of the Undisputed Era could leave the show with gold around their waists. Adam Cole will defend his NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano in a Three Stages of Hell match, while Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly will change the Street Profits for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
