Kurt Angle will compete in his first singles match on Monday Night Raw in more than 12 years later tonight, when he faces off against acting-General Manager Baron Corbin for the right to lead Team Raw at this month’s Survivor Series pay-per-view.

The last time Angle competed on the red brand (not including his battle royale win as The Conquistador last month) was January 16, 2006 when he went one-on-one with the “Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels. It was the Olympic gold medalist’s final match on Raw because he had won the World Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown the week before, and was moved to the blue brand due to Batista suffering an injury.
