Ligue 1 side Dijon have announced the signing of 19-year-old English central defender Jonathan Panzo from AS Monaco, for an undisclosed fee believed to be worth between €3m to €4m on a 3-year contract.

It is also believed that AS Monaco have a sizeable sell-on percentage fee clause included in the agreement.

Panzo, who told Get French Football News in an exclusive interview earlier this summer that he wants to be playing for a major European side in 2-3 years, had interest from Spain and the English Championship.

Sources tell Get French Football News that Panzo opted to remain in Ligue 1 as his entourage feels that he has enormous growth potential in the 1st division.
