La Provence report that 28-year-old right-sided player Bouna Sarr was assaulted at his home in the Marseille region this morning.
Four men entered his premises this morning, just before 09:00, as he was preparing to head to training. Two of these men were armed. By threatening Sarr, they were able to get the player to provide them with a number of valuable items, before escaping.
These men are currently on the run – Sarr was with his partner when the events occurred, but neither of them was hurt. Investigations are currently ongoing at the player’s house as we speak.
