Marseille yesterday confirmed the arrival of 29-year-old Spanish international central defender Alvaro Gonzalez, who signs on an initial loan from Villarreal.
The deal struck between the two clubs necessitates that OM activate a €4m option depending on the number of appearances made by Gonzalez throughout the 2019/20 campaign.
He will wear the #3 shirt for the Vélodrome-based outfit.
