L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Toulouse want to bring about the masterful return of 29-year-old central defender Aymen Abdennour, who first broke onto the Ligue 1 scene with TFC before moving to Monaco.
After a two season-long loan spell away from parent club Valencia with Marseille, during which time the French side basically didn’t play him, Abdennour may remain in Ligue 1.

With another 12 months remaining on his contract, Abdennour may return to the club he left in 2014. Talks are underway between the player and Toulouse to discuss salary requirements. Manager Alain Casanova is seduced by the idea of his return, but it remains to be seen if an eventual deal will get club president Olivier Sadran’s sign-off.
Brescia in Italy are also interested in Abdennour & VCF want him to sign a contract extension so that he can’t leave for free in the summer of 2020 and fail to recoup a transfer fee for the Tunisian.
