Speaking in an interview with Téléfoot, PSG attacking Kylian Mbappé discussed last week’s Champions’ League elimination at the hands of Manchester United.
“I’m stunned. I do not have words, I have not managed to sleep and I think it’s the same for everyone. It’s difficult. We had worked very hard to get to that point and we got eliminated. We are disappointed. Now, football continues and we will try to raise our heads for the end of the season.”
On thinking about next season:
Honestly, I have not really been able to do that as this was really our aim, this is what we were working every day for, why the fans were supporting us. The stadium was full, the fans did their job and supported us. It was really a magnificent atmosphere and we ruined it with a defeat.

On the QSI project:
Even though I know it is difficult with what has just happened, there are lots of people who will doubt the future of it, I continue to believe in this project, I am certain that we are going to be able to pull something good off in this club. The fans support us and I hope that they will continue to do so because they have always done things very well. Now, we need to do things. I think that together, by asking questions of ourselves and asking the right questions, we can pull off something good in the future. We are going to continue to work, because that is all we have, work, to try to improve day by day because we were maybe eliminated for a reason, we were missing things and we were not at the required level. Now, we need to finish our season in the best possible way and prepare for next year to try to come back to be the best.
On his future:
Yes, I think that I will be here next season, I am sure even. With what has just happened, even before, that was already decided. With all the problems that will come from this elimination, it would be pointless to add my personal situation to the mix. That is clear and precise.
