Speaking to Le Parisien, PSG central midfielder Christopher Nkunku’s entourage appeared to put pressure on the Ligue 1 champions regarding the French youth international’s playing time situation this season.

Nkunku’s agent, José Pierre-Fanfan, had the following to say:

“The fact of the matter is that his playing time and his place in the rotation are insufficient. Christopher is open to leaving so that he can progress. Nothing has been discussed yet with PSG, but in terms of the footballing situation, this is not good enough. He must go to the next level and that is not possible at PSG, especially when he plays without a fixed position.”

On a possible loan in Ligue 1:

“Why? Without beating around the bush, we know that Christopher could play anywhere in Ligue 1. Progression is no longer happening, and it would happen by being able to play regularly at a high level, installing himself in a club that is playing in Europe.”

The 21-year-old is believed to have interest from Ajax, Spanish and English clubs.
