AS Monaco have today announced the signing of the highly-rated Robert Navarro from Barcelona on a 3-year contract.
The 16-year-old is a product of the La Masia youth academy who is considered a great hope for his generation.
The young attacking midfielder had been linked with various top European clubs last season- including Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus- as doubts were raised whether the Spanish U16 international would agree new terms with the Catalan side.
Navarro expressed his delight in having secured a move to the south of France: “AS Monaco is a great club that relies heavily on training and in giving young people the chance to express themselves at the highest level. My goal is to work hard, making progress in moving forward with this club”.
