According to France Football and confirmed by the player’s agency, Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has rejected an offer from Turkish side Besiktas.
Besiktas had made a €3m offer for the Frenchman and had offered him a four year contract which would have seen him earn €2m a year net.
The offer was seriously considered by the Marseille captain, with his agent Stéphane Courbis having met Besiktas representatives this week in Monaco.
