Tiger Woods just won his 5th Masters Tournament and some famous friends took to social media to congratulate the champion.
“The greatest come back in the history of sports!” actress Jada Pinkett Smith wrote on Twitter. “Congrats Tiger Woods!!!”
The win was Woods’s first major win in 11 years. Back in 2008 he took first place in the U.S. Open, but hadn’t seen any huge success since, until now. The 43-year-old golfer had previously won the Masters in 1997, 2000, 2001 and 2005.
“Congratulations, Tiger! To come back and win the Masters after all the highs and lows is a testament to excellence, grit, and determination,” former president Barack Obama wrote, congratulating the professional golfer on his achievement.

Those high and lows were at the center of Nike’s commercial, which dropped just moments after he sunk the 18th hole at Augusta National to win the coveted green jacket. Alongside footage of Wood’s career, Nike had a powerful message for viewers.
“It’s crazy to think a 43-year-old, who has experienced every high and every low, and has just won his 15th major, is chasing the same dream as a 3-year-old,” the ad read, ending with Nike’s “Just do it” slogan.
It also showed a clip of Woods when he was just a young boy, who said that one day he was going to beat six-time Masters winner Jack Nicklaus.

Woods’ comeback in the pursuit of this “crazy dream” did not go unnoticed. Jack Nicklaus, who holds the most Masters wins at six, was happy to see Woods win.
“A big ‘well done’ from me to Tiger Woods!” he tweeted. “I am so happy for him and for the game of golf. This is just fantastic!!!”

Actor Hugh Jackman also congratulated the 15-time major tournament winner on Twitter, sharing a selfie of his reaction while watching Woods win the tournament. “What a comeback! Congrats @GCTigerTracker on winning @TheMasters,” he wrote.
Tennis champion Serena Williams said on Twitter that she was in tears watching her friend triumph after a long rollercoaster of a journey.
“I am literally in tears watching Tiger Woods,” she wrote. “This is Greatness like no other. Knowing all you have been through physically to come back and do what you just did today? Wow Congrats a million times! I am so inspired thank you buddy.”

NFL player Tom Brady, who has won six Super Bowls, cracked a joke wondering how long it’ll take him to have 15 major wins as well. “Congrats Tiger! What a performance,” Brady said.

Woods couldn’t contain his happiness after sinking the final put, throwing up his hands in celebration. He adorably hugged his 10-year-old son following his victory.
The prize for this year’s Masters was a record $11.5 million, with the winner taking home $2.01 million.
