Speaking on RMC tonight, Lyon President Aulas discussed a variety of topics, including Memphis Depay, Thiago Mendes & Dalbert.
On Memphis Depay:
I spoke with him this morning… for me Memphis will be here and on top of that, Juninho is counting on him. If I can make the latter happy on that, we are going to do everything we can for him to still be here.
On Dalbert:
We have enquired. The problem is the rules relating to the amount of non-EU players allowed in squads. We have, with the arrival of Jean Lucas, three players so we will have to make a choice on the 4th. Sylvinho knows him from Inter Milan. His value has come down a lot because he has not played much. He interests us but we can’t bring in all these Brazilians.
On Thiago Mendes:
Thiago Mendes is one of the players that we find interesting. Nothing is done. He is a request of Juninho and Sylvinho. I had Gérard Lopez (Lille President) on the phone today, we didn’t come to an agreement. We have been discussing, as is the case with a certain number of other players.

On Anthony Lopes:
We are dealing with this as a family. He is part of the family. We will meet with him with Juninho on Tuesday. It is I who ensured the last meeting with his agents. There is no agreement on anything. Each side made their offers. On our side, we have confirmed an offer of 3 extra years, at a level we have never gone for a goalkeeper and we have had great international goalkeepers at Lyon in the past.
There are agents that we received at meetings with big European ambitions and who sometimes have bad habits. I have always been someone confident and positive. Anthony is someone of great quality from a human and football perspective. We are going to find the right agreement.
