In a shocking, albeit shameful incident, the Supreme Court has slammed the Centre for harassing a 90-year-old freedom fighter. It has emerged that the Centre filed consecutive appeals in higher courts to challenge a freedom fighter’s right to pension. These appeals were often made at the last moment.
