The four-time NCAA DII national champion St. Cloud State University wrestling team will offer the 2019 SCSU Fall Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26. The clinic is open to all individuals in grades K-12 and it will be held in the Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. The clinic will begin with check-in between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
This year’s guest clinician is two-time NCAA DII finalist Vince Dietz, who earned All-America honors twice for St. Cloud State University during his collegiate career. Dietz currently serves as a student assistant coach for the Huskies this season.
The clinic will provide two sessions of wrestling instruction, a motivational talk, a chance to meet the SCSU wrestlers and coaches along with an opportunity to observe the Huskies’ wrestling practice after the completion of the clinic on Oct. 26. The cost is $40 and it will include a clinic t-shirt and snacks.

10:45 a.m. to Noon – Session II
Noon to 12:30 p.m. – Motivational Talk and Husky Wrestling Autographs
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Observe Huskies Wrestling Practice (Optional)

St. Cloud State compiled a 20-0 record overall in 2018-19 including an NSIC Championship, Super Region 5 Championship and an NCAA Championship. The Huskies return six NCAA All-Americans and eight NCAA qualifiers. SCSU has won eight consecutive NSIC championships, four NCAA DII championships, six NCAA regional titles, and five NWCA DII National Dual titles since 2012. Of note, SCSU has not lost a home match since a loss to Upper Iowa on Feb. 14, 2010.
