— Charlotte Flair is being sued by her ex-husband, Riki Paul Johnson, for defamation. Johnson claims that in Flair’s book Second Nature – released in 2017 – she included false statements saying that he was sterile and unable to father any children and that the allegations have humiliated him and his family. He also is suing for “multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse” which he says he can prove. Johnson also names Ric Flair – who co-wrote the book with Charlotte – and WWE in the lawsuit, saying that the wrestling promotion should be held accountable too since they marketed the book. WWE responded with the following statement:
“We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves.”
