- In terms of movement between Raw and Smackdown, sources report that WWE is strongly considering moving Reigns to the blue brand because of John Cena’s anticipated absence and Vince McMahon hinted at this during a recent conference call, specifically calling out seeing Reigns on Smackdown.
- We’re also hearing that there are multiple WWE officials who feel Reigns “can be the next Rock”, and are drawing parallels to their careers, especially early on. Reportedly these officials remain unfazed at Reigns’ negative reaction, pointing out that the Rock also was unpopular with fans before he exploded into a star.
