Keyra announced at Saturday night’s Triplemania XXVII in Mexico City that she was forced to vacate the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship after suffering a leg injury nearly three weeks ago.
Because she was originally slated to defend her title on the show against six other women in a massive Tables, Ladders & Chairs match, the returning Ayako Hamada was announced as the replacement for Keyra in the bout, which also featured Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie, Faby Apache, Lady Shani, Chik Tormenta and La Hiedra.
At the end of a wild TLC match that saw Tormenta stretchered to the back, following a nasty spill to the floor that may have actually been legitimate, it was Impact Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard who emerged victorious as the brand new AAA Reina de Reinas Champion!
