In case you missed it, Samoa Joe won a Fatal 4-Way match on this week’s edition of Smackdown Live to become the new WWE United States Champion, defeating R-Truth, Andrade Cien Almas and Rey Mysterio to win his first ever title on the main roster.
Cameras caught up with a fired up Joe backstage after his victory, and the Samoan Submission Machine wasted little time in mocking the former champion, R-Truth, for his fan-friendly “dance breaks” and his strange love for 16-time world champion John Cena.
Joe seemingly called out Cena’s motto of “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect”, saying that any and all challengers to his new throne would be met with disrespect and a severe beating. Check out the footage below:
