Those eagerly anticipating this weekend’s epic Survivor Series collision between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair will have to keep waiting if they want to find out which superstar truly is the best in the world.
In the closing moments of a stellar match between the two this Sunday night, Flair brutally assaulted her opponent with a kendo stick, quite literally breaking the weapon over her back to force a disqualification. Ending the match wasn’t the Queen’s end goal however, as she continued attacking Rousey with kendo sticks, before dropping her face-first into a steel chair with a bit of Natural Selection.
It’s unknown why Flair snapped to the degree that she did, but not even a pack of referees could stop her from dismantling “Rowdy” Ronda with repeated blows from the steel chair. By the time backstage agents were able to get the situation under control, a former UFC icon was left laying nearly unconscious, with a chair wrapped around her neck.
The Los Angeles crowd did not exactly respond as you might expect, booing Rousey mercilessly and chanting for both Flair and the currently injured Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. We’re not exactly sure what Ronda did to deserve such a reaction, but things are definitely going to be interesting heading into a brand new edition of Monday Night Raw tomorrow evening.
